This is a very simple slouchy toque, much like the one worn by main character Abe Woodhull, leader of the Culper spy ring, in the AMC series Turn. Gorgeous Woolfolk SNO makes this utilitarian piece extra special—it’s so soft, you’ll never want to take it off. To maintain the rustic look of the original inspiration, the ribbing is worked in the same size needle as the stockinette stitch.
Difficulty: Easy to intermediate, depending on cast-on method chosen.
Gauge: 30 sts & 38 rounds = 4” in st st in the round
One size (it’s quite stretchy and fits small to large adult heads)
Finished measurements: 20” circumference (18” around ribbing); 10” tall.
