Welcome to the new Fetching Knits website

I’m happy to finally introduce my updated web site. It’s been in the works since the end of 2011 but somehow knitting projects kept taking priority. If you’re looking for something from my old site and can’t find it, please let me know and I’ll try to help. I’d also be happy to hear from you if you have any thoughts you’d like to share, or suggestions or requests for this new site. – Cheryl

Anina will spice up your wardrobe

I’m excited to announce that Fresh Designs: Sweaters is now available from Cooperative Press, with 11 new projects, from tanks to hoodies. Check out my camisole pattern Anina, which I made using delicious pima cotton from Americo.
Anina is a summery cotton camisole that’s perfect paired with a fitted denim skirt or floaty linen trousers. Bare your shoulders and soak up the sun: the adjustable i-cord straps and customizable bust sizing help ensure a perfect fit.

This project is named for the wonderful co-owner of Urban Yarns in Vancouver, who helped me choose my first yarn and needles when I was learning to knit, and continues to encourage me every time I see her.

New collection of six patterns now available.

I’m very excited that my first collection of patterns is now available! Covet (small warm things to knit and wear) includes six original patterns for knitted accessories: a stunning, super-chunky cowl, a set of basketweave scarves, a super-quick cute pointy hat, striped mittens with extra-long cuffs, a one-of-a-kind welted neckwarmer, and elegant baby-cabled fingerless gloves.

This collection is available for purchase from Ravelry (PDF download $15) and from MagCloud (PDF $15; perfect-bound hard copy $20+postage–includes free digital copy)
